Originally from South Africa, Gerbera daisies are so bright that my watercolor paints just couldn’t do them justice. I decided to use gouache instead, an opaque medium I’ve previously added as a final punch of color to an almost-finished painting. The final result is just as cheerful as the flowers themselves!
