Plymouth Gentian

$5.00

This rare wildflower only grows in a few sunny spots in wet, open ground, usually beside New England ponds.

Category:

A walk along the shoreline of a New England “kettle” pond (a body of fresh water formed by retreating glaciers) revealed these delicate purple flowers. Curious as to what they might be, I researched online and found out they were a rare wildflower found in only a few locations in the world, usually in very low numbers. Give the gift of a handwritten card on this stationery to the rarest of treasures in your life (or just someone who deserves a really nice note!).
