I created this card as a gift for my older sister who is a professor at Princeton. She was looking for distinctive cards to use as thank you notes after professional meetings. These were not to be confused with official university stationery; she wanted something with a personal touch that alluded to her school affiliation without infringing on trademarked goods. I reworked this image multiple times until I felt like I had it just right. Fortunately, she agreed with my assessment, responding to my photo of the painting by saying, “This tiger has attitude!”
