ACME Restaurant

I painted this card at the request of my niece, who wanted to put together a custom collection of greeting cards for a friend’s birthday. In addition to several different ideas, I jumped on this image of her friend’s favorite restaurant due to ACME’s strong visual presence. The bright red entry contrasts vividly with the warm glow of interior light, and the bold signage leaves no doubt as to what lies within. A restaurant that looks this good from the street is surely worth checking out on your next trip to New York.
