A frequent customer requested a card she could use for two upcoming baby showers. I shared several options with her, but we both agreed a new card design was the way to go. My challenge with this card was to create something that immediately conveyed the idea of “baby shower” without using any words, as I have held firmly to the concept of creating a line of cards with only painted images on the front. After debating many different options (and painting five separate versions), I hit upon something that should work for any celebration of expectant parents. Here’s to the babies!
