Great Blue Heron

A customer at a market event requested this particular card; after seeing this beautiful bird’s blue-grey feathers and sinewy pink neck, I was happy to oblige! Distinct from other herons due to its size, this majestic bird can be found stalking for prey along shorelines throughout North America. Although they often appear motionless as they scan the waterway, they move quickly when they spot and seize their catch.
