Holiday Houseboat

Out of all of the boats that I can see from my window overlooking Baltimore’s harbor, this petite houseboat is my favorite. I met the owner one day as I was walking along the promenade, and she kindly offered to give me a personal tour of her home on the water. What I found inside and out is exactly what I had pictured: a cozy spot of perfection. I asked permission to paint the houseboat the way I imagined it would look dressed up for the holidays, with an oversized wreath on the side and colorful lights running up the pillars. Welcome home!
